About the course

Business Alpha is a lunchtime version of the popular Alpha Course www.alpha.org which allows people to explore the meaning of life from Christian viewpoint. Business Alpha Nottingham is specifically tailored for people working in the city centre in private, public and charitable sector organisations.

Business Alpha takes place over 9 lunchtime sessions, starting at 1.00pm and lasting 55 minutes, including light refreshments. Each week a different speaker from a Nottingham business or organisation will lead a 15 minute talk on an aspect of the Christian faith. There is then time for questions and discussion.

An additional part of the course is a day's conference which we encourage people to make space for in their diaries. It is a day to get to know others on the course better and there will be teaching on and experience of the Holy Spirit - an important aspect of the Christian faith.

Business Alpha Nottingham have run city centre courses since 2006 - being attended by people from a wide range of professions. We are supported by some of Nottingham's largest churches.

A function room within the Council House has been privately hired as a venue for the course. Business Alpha Nottingham is not affiliated in any way with Nottingham City Council.
