Alasdair put his faith in Jesus whilst serving as a paratrooper in the French Foreign Legion . He chose to return to the British Army knowing he would serve a prison sentence. Later he trained for the Christian ministry and is now director of Derby City Mission.

Formerly Managing Director of Long Eaton specialist motorcycle paintwork company 'Dream Machine'. After starting her business in 1977 she came to Christian faith following miraculous healing from injuries sustained in a serious road accident in 1983. She is now an Alpha speaker in the UK and abroad and is the Derbyshire area adviser for Alpha.
